When we lived in Nashville and our boys were young, I kept hearing the term "30A" over and over. Was 30A a house that people stayed at? Where in the world was this mystical place located? Why did it feel like everyone BUT ME knew about it. 

Two years later, our Nashville neighbors invited us on a 30A vacay. Finally, I would put to rest and explore this unknown location.

We made the twelve hour road trip to 30A from our new home in Dallas, Texas. And as we drove up to that first little beach town called Alys Beach, I realized what all of the fuss was about. 

According to Southern Living, “The namesake 30A comes from the actual local road in South Walton County, known as County Road 30A, where the beach towns sit. It spans roughly 20 miles along the Florida coastline and is located smack in the middle of the stretch between Destin and Panama City.”

We explored the handful of beach towns, stepped foot on the private white sand beaches, frolicked at the Alys Beach white sand playground, grabbed candy and ice cream at the Sugar Shack, enjoyed Florida's largest community pool in Seacrest Beach, and took many golf cart rides to the Emerald Coast. 30A became our favorite destination vacation.

After countless trips to 30A and insatiable questions from friends, family, and followers, I decided to compile a guide for those interested in sharing the magic of 30A with their family.
