Do you start to feel overwhelmed? Have a hard time finding the time or motivation? Or, maybe like you want to prioritize your physical fitness, but can't figure out how?
In the early years of motherhood, I felt that too. I had always been pretty active, but when I had kids it seemed like prioritizing my physical fitness was well out of reach.
From sun up to sun down, my kids demanded my time and energy. While I could handle it, I started to feel drained and knew I needed to prioritize working out for energy, but I couldn't figure out how.
I kept putting my fitness on the back burner, until after my second son was born and my overwhelm hit me like a ton of bricks. Tensions headaches started and postpartum depression and anxiety took root. I struggled over the course of eight weeks to fight for my health. As I hit rock bottom, I promised I would take care of myself so that I could better take care of my kids, if only I was given another shot.
Through the fog, I started a fitness plan. I became committed to addressing the underlying stress that was burying me as a mom. Day by day I grew stronger, mentally and physically. The depression wained and the anxiety softened. I vowed that my health would remain a priority from that point forward.
Parenting is hard, but you know what's harder? Parenting in poor health. My mission is to help women understand that taking time for self care - physical fitness, nutrition, meditation, and prayer - is not selfish; it is selfless.
You can do it all, but you need to take care of yourself in the process. My hope is that this download helps you prioritize your physical fitness and witness the transformative power, just like I have!
